The course has greatly improved over the last two years in terms of the condition of play. We played in early Feb and conditions were mostly good. Greens were smooth and fast for winter.

Just wanted to update my ranking I gave this course last NOvember, 2009 which was not good. The fairways have been now been restored(July 2010) and are in good shape. This is a fairly interesting course and I one I enjoy again now that they have gotten the fairways and greens restored. This course is in good shape.

This course has been in decline but as of November 16, the North Course is almost unplayble due to poor fairways. It appearsa they fertilized recently and burned the fairway grass beyond description. Most of the fairways are nothing but "bare ground", and muddy due to extreme watering, I guess to try and leach out the excess fertilizer? They won't tell you anything at the Pro shop. Although I did not pay high fee, they do not tell you of the extremely poor condition of the fairways.. User beware.. The course may recover but it will be some time with winter coming on..

I like Foxtail North. The hoouses are a bit of a put-off as the back yards on many are un-kept--not the usual thing you find on homes bordering a nice golf course. The course itself is unique and challanging. All holes are different and present a different look. Downside is teh geese. Lots of goose poo to deal with. I play there often.
